What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead.

As a newly established nonprofit, Future Warfighter Foundation is seeking early-stage catalytic funding to support the delivery of its Beta Pilot Program. Initial funding will be used primarily to compensate veteran peer facilitators and a licensed clinical advisor, roles that are essential to program quality, safety, and outcomes.

This funding enables the organization to execute responsibly, collect meaningful data, and position itself for larger grants and multi-year funding opportunities.

Pilot Staffing & Compensation Needs

Veteran Peer Facilitators

  • Number of facilitators: 10

  • Time commitment: 1 hour per week

  • Program length: 12 weeks per cohort

  • Cohorts per year: 3

Facilitators may be retained across all cohorts to ensure consistency, trust-building, and cost efficiency.

Clinical Advisor

  • Licensed mental health professional

  • Role: trauma-informed oversight, facilitator support, crisis escalation protocols

  • Time commitment: approximately 1–2 hours per month, plus limited on-call availability

  • A clinical advisor may also be retained across all cohorts

Use of Funds

Early funding or small grants will be used exclusively to:

  • Compensate veteran peer facilitators

  • Secure licensed clinical oversight

  • Ensure safe, trauma-informed program delivery

  • Protect facilitator sustainability and prevent burnout

This lean staffing model maximizes impact per dollar while preserving program integrity and participant trust.
